ohhh and i got my hands on it...

I went to Papermaze the other day to grab some stuff for the next 2 months classes. One of the lines that i picked up to use was the Nook and Pantry Line. As i had some left over i did some cards with it. Seriously gorgeous paper line, really really gorgeous!!!
Not quite sure what my deal with cards are. I can only make them once in a while. if the card mojo is not working the cards DO not happen. But yesterday i felt like it was there so i came up with these...

I have another one which i have yet to take a photograph of it... be back soon xxx

Not even a tiny bit mine!!!!

I never scraplift, never ever ever!!! if i lift a page, it is normally just part of it, an single piece of the page that has a different idea on it. In fact i can count the amount of times i have scraplifted over the last 5 years on one hand.

Everytime i try it always turns out wrong, seriously wrong and i end up throwing away what i have created and wasting all the supplies that i had used. I am comfortable with my own style of scrapping so i tend to stick with that.

BUT........... seriously this one caught my eye in the two peas gallery the other day and i was hooked. I had been trying to come up with a page with a house on it for a while now, especially to do one for a workshop at Papermaze. I came across the Maya Road chipboard people while i was at Alexandra Palace the other week and as they where only a £1 i bought them and that was what lead me to wanting to create a page with a house on it.

This page is amazing!!! Seriously!!!! It is created by the Lady who i linked up the other day called Rachel Hall.

I feel in love and so for the first time in ages i lifted a page!!!

Here is my version...
Yep i just copied the whole page!!!!!
Apart from the lettering of course!!!

I am going to copy the house for a new home card!!!!! I am still trying to find a spot to put on the little chipboard people though :)

It is half term here where i live, and that means Harry is off school and i have the week off as well!!! HURRAH!!!!!!!!

SO i finally got round to doing some scrapbooking. OF MY OWN!!! i used my own stash and everything!!!! ( unheard of)!!!

This page is very different for me, for several reasons...

Firstly, can you see???? only one, yep just one piece of pattern paper. I did have some more on there but for some reason i just went with the red. Normally i can use up to 4 different sheets on one page.

I used BRADS!!! i never use them. Dont think it was because i had none to use. Because i have a TON, but just never used them before now!!!

I did the 'cluster of flowers'. Now Zarah who is a online scrappy friend and a whizz with clustering flowers will be proud of me as i have never been able to cluster flowers before. Not sure why it always looked wrong.

And then i used one of my Mayar oad journaling tags. Have had those for ages and not used them either.

All in all a different page, but i loved doing it. Was really hard though as i am used to working with restrictions, only using the stuff that is given to me, so i think after more practice next time i will add more!!! lol

I know the UK scrappy talk at the moment is about scrapbook inspirations magazine closing down. I did alot of work for them over the past year, so i am sad to see it go, but not surprised. I did have alot of problems getting paid for the work that i did, but still sad that yet another scrapbooking magazine has gone.
But lets hope someone comes along and brings out something new and exciting for us to read!!!!

I am hoping to do alot of my own scrapbooking this week so hopefully will have lots to share!!!

A sneek!!!!

The next lot of online workshops are going up in the next week on the Papermaze website. I thought i would give you a glimpse of them. It is always hard when deciding how much to show people when doing these. You have to show enough so people can get a general idea of what they are going to be like but not tooooo much as you want them to buy the workshop.

*sigh* Hard!!!!

Anyway they will be going up when i finish putting the blog together, but wanted to show you a peek!!!!

THis one is done using the Bella Blvd Plastino Line ( soooooooo gorgeous by the way!!!!)
I did an extra project with this one which will only be shown on the blog prepared just for this workshop.

The next page is done using Bella Blvd again but this time the Super Stud line...

You can see both lines of pattern paper here...

and i did it...

H has not been well this week so i have had a few days off work. He slept for most of it and so in an attempt to keep me busy ( ie not house workLol) i made a start on my christmas present projects.

So i stuck into my mums birds house key holder that i showed u the other day...

I had to get R to cut out the sections for me that needed sawing off... and got started.

It was easy in the sense that i knew what line of papers i was going to use. These ones match the colours in my mums kitchen perfectly!!!!! and i know she is going to love them.
I used a really strong glue to adhere all the wooden parts together and great fun making it just how my mum would like it.

I added the gems round the photo as it looked a bit boring!!!!!
I just hope she likes it.
I bought this from Papermaze, you can find some christmas ones here... and some others here. I have my eye on each and every single one of them!!!! they are stunning and a good price as well!!!

Where have i been???

Sooooooooooo busy you wouldnt believe. I do 2 workshops at the Papermaze shop and 2 online workshops now, which i have to say take up alot of my time. Also been working on the Self evaluation forms to Ofstead ( people who rate and keep and eye on all nurseries and school, they are the powers that be in child care) really long and detailed and take ages to put together.

So no scrapping to show you, but wanted to share one of the blogs that i check regulary. This lady was on the Nook team with me and has the most gorgeous style EVER and i have loads of her pages saved to lift if i ever get round to it)

Her name is Rachel Hall and her work is outstanding. Spend some time going through her posts i bet you will love her work as much as i do!!!!

Because i wanted you to have a laugh.

Hello!!!
There is a website called Photobucket that i upload all my photographs to. On saturday morning i was sitting around not doing anything, actually that is not true i should have been been cleaning so i was trying to find something to do other than that!!! lol.

I have several folders on there that i have had for a few years now and i sat going though them. I came across some of my old old old layouts that i did within the first few months of me starting scrapbooking. I am brave or stupid or both i decided to show them to you. So go on LAUGH!!!!

And here is my first ever page!!!

Yep you can laugh now!!!

Soooooooo annoying...

I had the best time at Alexandra Palace when i went last weekend. I spent the day with people who mean alot to me, spent more money that i had! ( who doesnt right???) had a gorgeous picnic in the beautiful sunshine, and i treated myself to a few things that i had been after for ages!!!

Yep i treated myself to this...
I already have more border punches than i could ever use but this one, it caught my eye and i have been after it for a longggggggggg time.

So yep i treated myself and i bought it. It went in the bag and from there NOTHING! i have lost the flamming thing. When i got home there was a hole in one of the carrier bags i was carrying and i am guessing that i fell out :( Sooooooo upset about this.

I have not be well this week. Actually that is the understatment of the year, but i am finally feeling better and have been in my scrapbooking room this evening. Creating! yes, can i show you??? no!!! sorry all for workshops for Papermaze. Though i found this picture of a card i created a few months ago.... i love it!!!
